This has been my favorite quote lately, and I have been thinking about it a lot: THE WORK GOD DOES WITHIN US WHILE WE WAIT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS WHATEVER IT IS WE'RE WAITING FOR. God has been teaching me so much about this, as I wait on Him.
Are you waiting on the Lord Are you waiting for something, seeking Him, yearning and longing, and don't know when He will see fit to give it to you While you wait on Him, He will do two wonderful things: He will strengthen your heart, and He will show you that He is good. ❤️ "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Psalm 27:14 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 "The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him." Lamentations 3:25

WELL WITH GRATITUDE CHALLENGE // REST
So fatigued. So weary. I rested my forehead on my folded arms in the pew as I waited for the rest of the rows of parishioners to receive Communion.
I was feeling so buried by the unending tasks at home: dishes, meal planning, dirty diapers, laundry. Ugh, the laundry. Surely, Lord, there’s got to be more than all of this! Don’t you have a greater plan What must I do to break free from this mundane life
There is nothing you have done that will make Me love you less.
There is nothing you can do to make Me love you more.
You are so radically loved.
Rest in that.

God will keep nothing good from you!!! The shift is coming!!! I encourage you to be in position...be in the right posture because the shift is coming...your waiting has not been in vain!!!!!
"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing" 1 Thessalonians 5:11
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
So I was listening to Pastor Stanley message this morning in the vehicle and he was talking about encouraging other people, which is what so many times we might forget to do. Let me just say that I try to encourage others but if you need encouraging today I just want to say that my prayer is that you know that Jesus loves you and has called you to so much for your good. I love you too as your brother in Christ. God forgive me when I become so overwhelmed and forget you and your needs. My prayer is that you feel comfortable enough to share with me or someone so we can all pray for you. I see some people post non stop videos or pictures and after a while it just seems impersonal. There really is a person behind this account and a face and I don't want to just post pictures or videos all the time. I am just a human same as you and trying so hard each day to seek Christ. During this journey I would like to encourage you also.

“When you choose to rise above life’s problems and choose to trust God’s Word, God will give you the capacity to soar above life’s problems and spread your wings beyond your circumstances. As you’re rising, choose to remember God and place Him at the forefront of your mind, thoughts and actions. It is God who gives you the power, access, authority, ability, strength and stamina to succeed. Your success is in Him. As God elevates you, remember it is He who gives you the power and the platform to succeed.” #theythatwaituponthelord #morningdevotion📖🙏
“Waiting requires patience. Waiting has purpose. Waiting produces maturity. When you choose to intentionally wait on the Lord and willfully surrender your will over to Him — God will renew your strength. Let God sharpen you in His season. Let God lead your business, finances, career, and ministry. Let God lead your ability to guide your home. Generations depend upon your ability to surrender. God wants you to wait on Him. As you wait on God He will refresh you in every area of your life. Choose to trust and wait on Him.” #theythatwaituponthelord #morningdevotion📖🙏
I have these in four rooms of our home. I don’t read all of them everyday but I do read the one next to our Keurig ☕️ everyday. It always amazes me how timely and relevant the messages are when I read them❤️ I am not patient by nature but I have been in so many circumstances that required waiting that I have actually developed a relatively patient nature.

Isaiah wrote to God’s people about how no one or thing compares to God. In this passage he reminds them that God is creator of all, over all and nothing happens outside of him.
Good cannot happen outside of him, evil cannot be beaten without him, life comes through him!
Isaiah declares there is no one like our God, he is creator of everything, never grows weak or weary, has limitless wisdom and understanding and his power has no end.
God doesn’t stop there. He chooses to be involved in our lives. He gives strength to the powerless, power to the weak, no matter young or old.
If you trust in him, he will renew your strength. Though you were wiped out, he will give you new energy to get up and go again. You will run and now grow weary. You will walk and not faint!
This verse is one of my all time favorites. I regularly quote it to myself when I am running a marathon or doing an exhausting endurance workout.
It encourages you when you feel like you have reached the end of your ability. Trust God the endless energy and resource for everything. He will renew you to keep going in physical effort, in spiritual battle, in keeping the faith! He is all we will ever need.
