Hey Instagram Fam. I desire more “social” and less “media” with this crazy tool we have been given. I believe you matter. I believe I matter. We all are significant and loved. So let’s commune, shall we Here are a few words about my life... I share about God here a good portion, because He IS the definition of importance and love. All life flows from His hands. My relationship with God is full of peaks AND valleys; however, El Shaddai, my all powerful God, has always been faithful to lead me to see His endless glory in this crazy ride of life.
I am a mom of two, 👨👩👧👦 a girl and a boy. Being a mom is more fun than any experience I’ve had and also more challenging than the most consuming professional work I’ve faced. My daughter is loud, fierce, sensitive, creative, athletic, intelligent and hilarious. My son is coy, sweet, funny and sometimes mischievous.
I am a public health professional and professional health coach (throw in some accounting and human resource related work) turned homemaker and homeschool teacher (for now). When my daughter was 18 months (now almost 5), I decided to put a career on hold to raise her. I dabbled in blogging and realized that may not be for me (even though I love to write and can see myself creating written work in the future). Right before I thought it would be fitting for me to officially start a business of my own in 2017, I took a break from social media to focus. A few weeks later I found out I was pregnant with my son! It was as if God planned that or something. (😉 of course He did). I felt strongly that I was being called solely to motherhood, in this season of my life.
That social media break turned into 1.5 years. That time had a few peaks and a few more valleys; however, it was a year in which I heard from The Mighty Counselor in ways that I never had prior. Many times, His voice was still and small.
I’m certain the future holds more and more of me getting to bear witness to His glory! I simply aspire to be available to God, for serving His Kingdom.
I am frequently resting in His shadow, being pruned and going through a sizable refinement. He is not finished with me or YOU, yet. *(Con’t in comments.)*
