How do you know when you're living your best life Someone asked me that the other day. It has nothing to do with how we tend to self-identify on a superficial level, such as our bank account, our job, our looks, or our version of success. I think that those moments when you find ease in everything you think, say, and do is when you are in harmony with your highest potential. That is powerful because it is accessible to anyone who is able to strip away the outer layers of self (physical attributes, thoughts, and beliefs), and tap into our bliss, our true nature. Then suddenly everything is easy. Everything flows. You are provided with everything you need when you discover that all anyone really needs is love. Not love from others, but love from within that radiates outward to others. It's magnetic. Its joyful. So, to live your best life simply means to love. Love yourself. Love others. Everything else will fall into place.

It's #throwback Thursday and I'm still the cutest dog on the block! Facts's puppy floof and bi-colored eyes are kind of cute, whatev. But whenever we go out people rush to pet ME! Surely I'm still the favorite, they just give Facts all the snuggles and compliments first because it's important to build up his self esteem while he's a pup. They probably just save the best scratches and all their excitement for last, right

A gold silk sari and a wedding by the sea. Throwback to this amazing day(s) celebrating @panuromic and Vilas’ wedding and hanging out with @brybry89’s extended family in Kannur.
(NB: As a ‘white girl’ traveller I try to be a little conscious of cultural appropriation when it comes to local dress. General rule of thumb, I think, is to do your homework and dress for respect as per the situation. Sometimes that means following the local customs and diving into the experience. And weddings are ALL about joining in. Especially in India. Only regret on this occasion is that the beautiful silk got crumpled during the 14hour train ride to the destination. Big thanks to the three ladies who showed me how to drape!)
Throwback to meeting this dude at the Id Software office. Apparently a fan carved this entire thing out of wood. If you're that fan or know them, let me know so I can properly credit you/them!
