I live my life off of a routine. This is what my schedule looks like: wake up at 5:30 have water and a workout, shower and get ready for the day, get Emma baby up dressed and fed, drop her off at daycare with my husband, work from home or in the office, prep dinner, grab Emma, do the night routine. Answer emails try to build my business, laundry, and finally bed. 👼🏼🙋🏼♀️🤷🏻♀️🤞💪🏼🤔👍🏼🙌🏻👏🏼😩😍

Anywho, today was NOT a planned day and it threw me completely off! No workout, shower but not getting ready, lost a wallet, late on daycare, Emma has a shiner. No dinner, no laundry. 😩😩😩
So here I am at the end of my day and with bags under my eyes and messy hair. I refuse to let this day from hell get me down- tomorrows another day 🙌🏻😬👆🏼😍🤞

I've been lacking of self care lately and I'm paying for it. One day, just getting out of bed seems impossible. Our society doesn't allow us to feel down and that's why we keep everything buried until it explodes in our face. Today it exploded in mine. And I feel bad about it while I should rest and get some sleep. What is wrong with us
Got “that call” from daycare today that this little lady was sick and needed to be picked up. So my plans for the night changed.
Good news is she checked out with all negative tests and it must just be some viral bug. She’s happy as a clam tonight too! Thank God for Tylenol 😉
Part of my plan for tonight was to get all of my clients and coaches geared up for the New Year to be all ready to rock with a new fitness program.

For some of you, Christmas may be a very challenging time and I would like to acknowledge you and remind you of the importance of self care.
1. You have the right to say “No” to anything that is not good or helpful for you.
2. Know your boundaries; what you will and will not accept from others re their behaviour. Have an exit strategy from events or let people know you can only stay for a short while.
3. Stop worrying about offending people; how they feel is their responsibility and looking after you is yours.
4. Do what makes you feel safe and happy.
5. Nurture and be kind to you. Give yourself space to breathe and connect with yourself and the beautiful world around you.
“Taking care of yourself doesn't mean me first, it means me too."

It seems that we generally avoid our psychological responsibility, as though diseases were external events imposing themselves upon us. There is a quality of sleepiness, and of missing the gaps in the seemingly solid structure of our lives. Out of that sense of carelessness, comes an immense message. Our bodies demand our attention; our bodies demand that we actually pay attention to what is going on with our lives. Illness brings us down to earth, making things seem much more direct and immediate.
Disease is a direct message to develop a proper attitude of mindfulness: we should be more intelligent about ourselves. Our minds and bodies are both very immediate. You alone know how your body feels. No one else care; no one else can know but you. So there is a natural wakefulness about what is good for you and what is not. You can respond intelligently to your body by paying attention to your state of mind. ❤️

Don’t get upset with yourself when you are having a bad day. Just know that it is only another chapter in what is the magnificent book of your life.
We all have “bad” days but this is all part of the journey of your life. It’s all Contrast and contrast is not only necessary but good.
When we have not so good days, we just need to check in with our emotions, recognising them for what they are and what they are trying to tell us about where we are in manifesting our desires. Emotions are your inner compass system steering you towards everything you have ever dreamt about.
Just like the game Hot and Cold.... when you are in the right direction to finding your desires you hear “your getting warmer, warmer, warmer, oh your really HOT now, meaning....(feeling joy,eagerness,excitement,anticipation) and when your pulling away from all you desire you hear “ your getting colder, colder, colder, uh-oh your freezing now” meaning..... (feeling fear, anxiety, sadness, worthless). Until eventually through listening to your feelings you win the game and find the prize.
See your “bad” days as just another day in the game, another chapter of your book. Listen to and connect with what your feeling on those days, and use this to steer you closer to the prize “warmer, warmer, your warmer now”. With out the bad days you would never recognise the good ones, just like with out the rain you would never see a rainbow. It’s just recognising this and knowing that you need to change direction a little, and always remembering that THIS TOO SHALL PASS, AS EVERYTHING IS EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD BE. 💜
