A foggy morning turned into a beautiful day just like the weather forecast said. I cycled to work with the Giant - probably the first time in some 3 weeks - and couldn't wait to leave and enjoy the last rays of sunshine 😊
The clocks will go back this weekend so from now on, I will be commuting in the dark. There's not much street lights going on around Surrey so the hills are out of question for now. Even today I was lucky to enjoy a pitch dark segment between Leatherhead and Esher ☻😱
This ride was the fastest post work Box I can remember, 25.6 km/h average speed which doesn't sound much, but you have to remember how much hills slow me down... it was evenly distributed work in zone 2 and 3, max HR staying under threshold 👍🏻
Now we'll be facing another 3-4 days of rainy weather, meaning that I may commute with my winter bike or run to work or just ask my colleague to pick me up... but one thing is sure: Giant goes back to the shed for some rest 🤷🏼‍♀️ will see how bad it gets .

A foggy morning turned into a beautiful day just like the weather forecast said. I cycled to work with the Giant - probably the first time in some 3 weeks - and couldn't wait to leave and enjoy the last rays of sunshine 😊 The clocks will go back this weekend so from now on, I will be commuting in the dark. There's not much street lights going on around Surrey so the hills are out of question for now.
