We started our trek from the wan village. And was moving towards Garoli patal campsite, with my group.
And I have a habit of exploring the place wherever I go, I love to take pictures of places and, I admire the kids because I found them so cute! And I like to make new buddies.
So similar incident took place with me on that day we were walking toward our campsite and group was a bit tired so we decided to rest at a point. Suddenly, I show four children who were running back home from there school. I stop them for a second and started interacting with them first a bit they were staring at me and looks frightened of me maybe because of my beard haha.
The reason was, my guide told me the previous day that there are rumours about people how comes from other towns and village to kidnap small children for there organs.
I was like shocked for a moment.
Then we just left. So I make out that that's why they are looking at me like that, I talk to them I gave them chocolates which I was carrying with me on the trek. And anyhow I was able to convince them that I am just here for trekking purpose. Then they were so cool! they started talking to me we just had a quick chat and then told them I'll give you something I'll click a photo of yours so they get in a line and ok 'nikalo photo'. I was carrying my Instax mini 9 so I click a photo of them and the film came out they were like 'ye Kiya he Me - ye photo jo nikala uska copy he.' they - 'isme to photo Aaya Nahi
Actually, the film takes a few seconds to turn this into a picture. They were like so happy after that they asked me to give this photocopy I told them I took this for you only you can take it with you just let me take a picture for my memories.
It was so great to catch up with them and such moments helps in creating a great travel diary. An unforgettable trip it was!
