Really just to impress @laurenekelley 🤷🏻‍♂️.

These are two of my favorite workout moves for arms that are effective, fun, and challenging!
.
Move 1: TRICEP Extension with Bridge 
Get yourself into a bridge, making sure those feet are hip width apart, weight is in the heels, and you’re keeping your core engaged and squeezing those glutes. Then with control lower those dumbbells down until there Is a 90 degree bend in your arms, exhale as you lift back to center. Repeat 3 sets of 10-12 reps.

Move 2: Dumbbell 21’s
Holding two dumbbells (or a barbell) do a basic bicep curl for 7 reps. Then go all the way up, halfway down for the next 7, and finally all the way down halfway up for the last 7! Make sure you keep that core tight and elbows hugged into your sides as you do the reps. Repeat 2-3 times.

Also wearing that performance tee from Fitletix clothing! And the dragon ball z shirt! - starting with some 5-3-5. Hold it for 5 seconds going down. Go up two inches and hold it for 3 seconds. Then go up slow taking at least 5 seconds up! 
Hitting up some incline flys. I love these type of workout to get that upper and outer chest the width that it deserves. 💪🏻 Ending with some salmon ladder pushups. Do 10 push-ups then keep lowering it, then go back up with it! You should be hitting around 100 pushups when you are done! These are the ones that make me cry in pain every time, but it is worth it 😉

Happy Taco Tuesday! 🌮 hope you are enjoying some tacos today as I am!! Here’s a short arm day workout I did on Sunday to get back into the swing of things. I normally like to add some HIIT to my arms day but didn’t Sunday.. I’ll save that for next time 💪🏼⁣⁣

1 ~Warm up with pushups ~ I start everyday with 30 pushups regardless of what muscles I’m training. ⁣⁣

2 ~ EZ bar bicep curls ~ 3 sets of 10. I always struggle keeping my elbows forward but it’s important to do so you aren’t using the rest of your body for assistance. ⁣⁣

3 ~ Skull crushers ~ 3 sets of 10. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
4 ~ Sit down bicep curls ~ 3 sets of 10. This is far more difficult than it looks. Start with a small amount of weight and focus on form. ⁣⁣

5 ~ Tricep overhead extensions ~ 3 sets of 12. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
6 ~ Bicep hammer curls ~ 3 sets of 10.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
7 ~ Tricep dips ~ 4 sets of 8. You can do these on the bench or box too. I use the band for assistance now but am trying to get rid of that band in the next couple months. ⁣⁣ Let me know how you like this 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

It’s nottttt the most efficient method. On a LIVE video I did recently over on Facebook (I go LIVE there quite a bit) I talked about exercise as one of the slowest, yet most overused tools for weight loss. If someone would have told me that 10 years ago I wouldn’t have understood.

& what I mean by that is, it’s wayyyyy to easy and tempting to try to out exercise our diets when our goal is weight loss. We tell ourselves ‘crap I ate that, oh well, I’ll just burn it off working out’ and we create this cycle of guilt + punishment. Been there, done that.

I’ve shifted my mindset from using exercise as a tool for weight loss to a form of self care, self respect, mental and emotional therapy. It’s something I enjoy doing for myself. I’ve taken the pressure off myself of ‘burning it off’ to just enjoying my workouts. 
_
So I really don’t CARE how many calories I burn while I workout, just how I feel DURING & AFTER the workout. Hopefully that helps anyone who is stuck in the mindset that fitness = weight loss. Because it doesn’t. 🤙🏼

A little PUSH workout for ya! Hit the ‘SAVE’ button for the next time you’re doing chest, triceps, and shoulders. _ Slide 1&2 Superset: 3 sets of 10-12 Alt. Shoulder Press Shoulder Press _ Slide 3&4 Superset: 3 sets of 10-12 Chest Fly - I do these slightly different due to my breast implants, I like this modification Chest Press Rotation w/ pulse _ Slide 5 Dropset Tricep Ext. 12, 10, 8 reps _ Slide 6&7 Superset 3 sets of 12-15 Cable Press Tricep Rope Press _ Slide 8 BURN OUT Bosu Pushup to overhead press! _ Using exercise as a weight loss tool… here’s my two cents: _ It’s nottttt the most efficient method. Working on arms and shoulders today. Did a lot of combinations and supersets, so don’t swipe too quickly. -

Workout: all 4 sets with 8 reps
• cable arm combination
• dips/ L sit
• biceps/ upright row
• landmine: condentration curl/shoulderpress
• shoulderpress
• shoulder raises combi
• abs
• triceps cable 
Inbetween I did some cardio on our crosstrainer and armcycles.
