🎄 It’s that time of the year again! I had so much fun with these last year, and will be taking a limited number of custom orders this year. Local friends and family - hit me up if you would like a custom embossed ornament for your tree (or as a gift!) this year! 😘
I can’t use mere words to describe how much I love this verse, so I’ll just leave this here. ☺️❤️
There’s no other option.
The world needs your personal pursuit of holiness.
Now is the time, friends.
Now is the time to become great Saints.
It’s been a minute since I posted anything but I had to make some changes to bring myself closer to true happiness. This meant completely parting ways with NYC and obtaining my educator certification to teach High School Art, moving back to FL, and removing all toxic/stressful situations from my life. Sometimes we are fortunate enough to be pulled in a wrong direction only to fully realize what we were actually meant to do. It’s definitely been a journey but I’m embracing each and every moment.
For a few years now, I’ve been waiting for that year-end “plot twist” to complete my year. I never felt like I got the storyline I was waiting for. What I failed to understand was that I can write my own story. So, from me to you, I say this, go out there and make that plot twist you’ve been hoping to get this year.

“Find Joy in the Journey”
I know this saying is becoming cliché. But let’s stop for a moment and think about what this really means. So often we get caught up in our daily routines.
With Thanksgiving coming up, I’ve heard people say over and over, “I can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving next week!” If you feel the same way, maybe you have been neglecting finding joy as you complete the more mundane tasks. If you’re super busy with your family, job, school, and life responsibilities, don’t just go through the motions. Be deliberate. Look for the small nuggets that pepper your day with happiness. If you want to find joy in your journey, you can’t forget to look for it. If you take time to search those moments out, you may just find the joy you’re looking for.
I’m so excited to show the beginnings of a zine I’m releasing soon! Once Folktale Week is over, I’ve decided to compile all of the illustrations I’ve done into one collection. I’ve also written a story to go along with it too!
J is for José.
“¡Viva Cristo Rey!” // Saint José Sánchez Del Río.
Seriously, if you’ve never read the story of Saint José, talk about you’re never too young to be a radical witness of Jesus’ love.
Killed for the faith at the age of 14, he was told that all he had to say to be saved was death to Jesus Christ.
Instead, right before he was shot, he cried out, “viva Cristo Rey!” which means Life to Christ the King!
Fourteen. Years. Old.
Don’t let anyone tell you you’re too young to be serious about your faith.
Your relationship with Jesus is the most important thing ever.
There are so many people who have gone before you to show you how it’s done.
Never be discouraged.
Run the race you’ve been given, and run it well.
You’ve been given enough grace, friends.
Don’t waste it.
There are always flowers for those who want to see them. —Henri Matisse 🌺🌸🌿
A way I’ve found helpful to find these flowers is to be thankful. Be thankful for this day that you’re given. Today is a day where God has laid out before you, knowing fully in which emotional, health, or spiritual state you’ll be, and he’s supplying you sufficient grace and/or truth to get you through today. How marvelous is his love! Also, today is Friday, so that’s one awesome flower we can all pick up right now! Happy Friday, guys! 🌟🌟
Didn’t make it in for this week’s #homwork, but I’m happy with how much I pushed myself to try out a completely new style after rounds of iterations. (my first round of iteration consisted of putting an island-like shape at the back to make the text ‘flowers’ pop. I couldn’t find a good reason for why I chose that arbitrary shape, so I spent an extra two hours trying to find a new solution... I’d say it was worth pushing myself!)
I couldn’t decide which color I like the most—I think the first one complements the quote the best, but I also like the soft colors. What do you guys think 🤔
A snippet from a freshly approved moodboard for a *very* special client of mine! I am SO excited for the initial concept presentation. I really want this brand to feel warm, welcoming, accessible, down to earth, and just have this amazing feeling of hope throughout. I’m really inspired by the sunrise - such a simple, beautiful concept that has so much meaning. 🌅 P.S. Can you tell that I love aqua paired with warmish yellow 🙈
so ready for this break i can’t even stand it. educators, you’ve earned it!
Everybody knows the feeling
Hi! ☺️ I'm kinda nervous to post this, but I decided that... why not •
When I worked in a kindergarden, I had a collegue who was from Morocco - so her native language was Arabic (the one they speak in Morocco, of course). What you see in this picture is supposedly my name (my name - Marie-Pier - is not really Arabic, so she had to make it up with phonetics and stuff). •
Please tell me if it says something else 😂 but anyway. How beautiful are the letters in Arabic 😍 (Not specifically mine aha, I'm just a beginner in this language.)
I challenge you to letter something in another language! Tag me if you do ✨ I would love to see it.
Here’s a #WIP of an upcoming lettering series, Note to Self. Follow to see how it goes 😊
Cozy. It’s probably my favorite thing about fall. Cozy sweaters. Cozy sips of coffee from steaming, ceramic mugs. But there’s a new kind of #cozy on the scene—and I think you’ll like it. ✨
My coworker @meganpelto just launched her new environment-forward business, @cozy_club, and its mission is “to help you feel cozy.” Plus, 10% of every order is donated to environmental organizations. So what’s not to love Cozy and Earth-conscious. All the feels.
Check it out!! 👉 @cozy_club 🌲🌲🌲

I’m very much in this exact position at the moment but wearing a sweater, sweatpants, and fuzzy socks. And still cold. (See: grandma 👵🏻) Because as I’ve said before, Fridays are work-from-comfy-chair days, and I’m sticking to that.
It’s also been one of those AMAZING days where I manage to call all the places I’ve been avoiding and everyone is saying the right things. -
✔️Doctor ugh -
✔️Printer who is indeed open over Thanksgiving -
✔️LegalZoom to cancel an order I hastily placed and thank god getting a full refund -
✔️Hoboken Sephora to check if a product is in stock -
^^^^obviously major priority. Update it’s not in stock so I’ll just HAVE to order online and wait to get the night serum I’ve been eyeing. 😭
