Don't let ANYTHING hold you back in life from going to #CUBA!!! This is one of our guests from June in Guanabo Beach, aka Playas del Este (Beaches of the East Side). Cuba's magic helped him heal! There are many, many, MANY beaches in this area and all different types. From #rustic and #secluded to jam packed and #thriving with action. This is the area where the nicer beaches are at, closest to Havana. Most of the small beaches in Havana city limits are very rocky and full of tough and sharp coral. Not too comfortable to swim, walk around, and not much sand, if any. These beaches are about a 30 - 40 minute drive to get out here. Only crystal clear waters, piña coladas and food service brought straight to you in most areas, and warm silky soft natural Cuban sand to rub your feet on! A total #rebirth of your #soul!!!! #motivation #dreams #inspiration #goals
Now this is a beautiful thing!! The world famous Cuban Cohiba was created in 1966 as a private and limited production brand that was made exclusively for Fidel Castro, #Che Guevara and high-level officials in the Communist Party of Cuba and Cuban government. Although they're very easy to obtain while in Cuba, it is also very easy to get ripped off if you try to save some money buying them on the streets. There will be many people on the streets offering 'real Habaneros from the corporation.' Beware. Make sure you know the differences of real and fake cigars. Notice the triple crown roll at the tip, consistent color in leaf, the quality of the perfectly cylinder ans compressed roll, quality of interior leaves and cut, and the micro print hologram on the band in the gold sections. These are just some of the main aspects to analyze. I will personally show you where the tobacco is cultivated, sold to the government factories, and how they actually process the leaves and cigars to create all the wonderful and tasty flavors in the factories in Havana, Cuba. It's truly amazing to see and experience. Best part is that you will be able to smoke as much as you can while we go through each step of the process, from countryside to factory. Thank you @dshapiro for showing us the real thing!! Smoke it up!! 😤😤😤😤😤
Now this is one of those #Havana pics that you can't stop looking at. Everything is perfect and it describes and captures the precise essence of Cuba effortlessly in just one shot. The infamous Malecon wall protecting the city, the neverending splashing waves, the sea air you can smell without scratching the picture, the rejuvenating salty air, and lastly but not least, the beautifuly blue classic car still running till this day through the very same streets it took its first breaths on. Just wow. 😲 This amazing pic was taken by one of the top Cuba photographers I've seen on IG 📷 @daniel_montazem. 👏 He sells his flawless pictures and delivers them straight to your home. Let us take you there 'VIP style' on our ALL Inclusive #tripstoCuba! Your classic car taxi is literally waiting to show you the rest of the island...
Viñales (Veen-Yah-Lehz) is a MUST SEE in Cuba!! This is where are the world's best tobacco is cultivated to then be sold to the government run factories like Cohiba, Partagas, and Romeo & Julieta, to name a few. Here you can experience with your own eyes, how and where they grow it, harvest, cure, ferment and roll the cigars. You can try it yourself at the particular/private farms I take you to. These leaves are extra special because they are usually fully organic and some farmers go as far as putting the leaves through a secondary process of adding cane sugar, honey, rum, and vanilla for that additional aroma and flavor you can't buy in any store. Here is @nat_chocheese and her friend soaking up the incredible mountain valley views with their fresh Mojitos in Viñales!! Cheers! 🍻👌
Cubans are always riding with style!! Cuban taxis are ALL completely different. Every ride in these classic cars that are all mostly used as taxis, will give you a totally different experience and ride. See it for yourself!! 😃
Another flawless Cuba pic in #Varadero #beaches from this beautiful couple doin it right!! It's like a neverending pool! Love it 😍
One of the underground city traffic tunnels on 5th Ave. in Havana completely underwater after Irma. This is right by the 1830 restaurant, as you can see in the background. Please follow @cuba2day and @fisheyejourneys for funding and donation options to help and support Cuba and the amazing people that have been left with even less than what they had before. Some are in the streets with nowhere to go to. Huge thanks to @mercecg64 for the amazing photo.
Be sure to check out a cheap and easy tour around Havana on this Habana Bus Tour by HabanaTur. Only 5cuc per person and you can get on and off at different stops. Also goes to the beaches. Not the best transportation to actually get around town, but it is a great affordable way to see a lot of Havana without spending too much on a bunch of 'direct' taxis. This is state owned and not a 'particular' (private) business owned by a Cuban, but it's a good option to know about. The top deck gets HOT!! 🔥😲
