Today was an extremely special day. Since surgery 2 years ago, I was told to swim and do yoga. I miss high intensity exercise so much and have had to modify jumping and weight lifting quite a bit. I was scared to lift anything over 20 lbs. Any type of squat jump would lead to a day of pelvic pain and running to get a Valium. High intensity exercise is what my body craves to be able to change. But today I jumped and didn’t have pain. And I lifted 165 lbs, which I have never done in my whole life. At the end of the day, it comes down to mindset. Pelvic pain and postpartum can make us feel vulnerable and incapable. As it is always important to stretch and practice mindfulness, it’s also important to build strength. We are all #wonderwomen and can overcome our barriers. We all may have setbacks, but we can also have good days. I was scared to lift anything over 20 lbs. Any type of squat jump would lead to a day of pelvic pain and running to get a Valium. High intensity exercise is what my body craves to be able to change. But today I jumped and didn’t have pain. And I lifted 165 lbs, which I have never done in my whole life. At the end of the day, it comes down to mindset. Pelvic pain and postpartum can make us feel vulnerable and incapable. As it is always important to stretch and practice mindfulness, it’s also important to build strength. We are all #wonderwomen and can overcome our barriers. We all may have setbacks, but we can also have good days.  #facetofacefriday there is a lot of difference between this 2 pictures, but the biggest is the people and family that I've acquired in the last year or 2, yeah I've lost some weight, yeah I've found who I am, and who I want to be after so many years of just being lost....but the biggest difference is the people the #FitFam .
