Let me share with you guys my experience.

I never tried a stregth program for a specific part of the body. After seeing the progress my good friend @bryssebart has made, i’ve decided to try it out.🏋🏽‍♂️
Thats how i ended up in the Smolov Squat Cycle. As you already guessed it’s a russian program.

Sergey Smolov is known as “The Russian Master of Sport” and developed the 13 week Squat Program. 
The whole cycle consists of 13 weeks of squatting, sometimes with additional work as well. It is broken down into several smaller cycles or phases. —————————
6 weeks have passed and i had to test out my new personal record (PR)
From my old PR of 145 i went up to 160 🎉
I tried 165 several times cause i felt it was there somewhere...but not that day :)
I still have 7 weeks to go :D sooo, i’ll keep you posted :))

Nesse tipo de barbell cycling, alguns pontos a serem observados: ================================== - para ser uma REP válida, basta os COTOVELOS passarem da linha da BARRA a FRENTE e os JOELHOS devem terminar ESTENDIDOS(esses dois pontos tem que ser simultâneos); ================================== - para ter uma melhor EFICIÊNCIA, no momento que a barra desce e está quase atingindo as coxas, você já tem que estender o corpo(pernas e quadril)e cotovelos, para que a BARRA SÓ "BATA" NAS COXAS E JÁ VOLTE - ou seja, faça o movimento de "impulsão" da barra pouco antes dela atingir suas coxas.

Most of the dreams get killed by the people who love you the most. Yes, you heard it right! It starts right from when you were a baby, your parents always wanted what’s safe for you and have always protected you from doing the hard things. This habit of them carried forward and they still want to stop you from following your dreams because they don’t want you to get hurt, they want you to follow the conventional approach of society, the habit of following the herd and follow other sheep. But you know what? You are not a baby anymore, You are man, You are a woman, it’s one life and you’ve to take your chances of doing what you love, following your passion, asking out that girl/guy, telling your parents that you don’t like the respective subject as your passion drives you somewhere else.. It’s time for you to take total control of your journey and stop letting the things flow with the motion because going through the motion, is the most disadvantageous thing that can ever happen to you. 
I dreamt of this physique but now the bar has been raised and I am going to beat this guy posing Back Double Biceps.. 💪🏻

Compound weighted movements are the way to go- Deadlifts, bench pressing and squats are going to get your deep, stabilising core muscles stronger. More core strength = better posture= less back, neck and shoulder pain. Weightlifting with sufficient mobilisation is a solution to postural pain that people rarely think about!

👊For every barbell lift you do, apart from bench press, the bar needs to be positioned over your foot. It is mechanically the most efficient position for that bar to be (weightlifting is just physics, remember) and therefore the safest place for your back.
👊if you keep your elbows high throughout the lift, the bar will stay over your feet and you can stand up with a straight back. If your elbows collapse at the bottom, you’ll have to ‘stripper’ it up, bum first. Not good.
👊You can generally back squat more than you can front squat, so you are never going to fail a front squat because your legs give up; you fail a front squat because your core gives up.
So set up for success with: high elbows, take a huge, deep breath into your belly and brace your abs as if you were about to be punched in the stomach. Squeeze your heels to lock your knees from collapsing inwards and squat, initiating the movement with your hips, not your knees. 👊happy squatting!

Совсем скоро выдвигаемся на региональный этап Чемпионата России 🌶
Что хочу сказать по своей ноге: лечение, компрессы и нимесил дали небольшое облегчение, чувствуется, что воспаление немного спадает, само собой нужно время и покой. Ноги мои не знали нагрузки уже почти 3 недели. Как я выполню задания с ногами на отборе - это большая тайна для меня самой😄
Приняла решение участвовать в любом случае, хоть и сомневаюсь, что пойду на максимумы в этих соревнованиях..
Как бы там ни было, планирую подходить ко всему с умом, если почувствую боль в коленке - придется снять свою кандидатуру)

Today was rest day and the "gym bro" in me feels like all gains have disappeared 😂. So instead of going out and inhaling an entire KFC Mighty Zinger, I'm going to tell you some things you need to prioritize on rest days.
•
Taking a rest day from the gym doesn't give you a free pass to cheat on your diet and be lazy and do absolutely nothing. You need to focus on recovery because training and nutrition does not equal progress. Training plus nutrition PLUS RECOVERY equals progress.
•
In fact, the second you step out of the gym is when you should start focusing on recovery. So what do you do? First thing is to go on 10 minute brisk walks after every meal (even on training days in fact) and the second thing is sleep.
•
Make sure that wake up on your rest day without an alarm and do the same for the very next morning. This is to allow your body to tell you when to wake up instead of your phone! The first option allows you to sleep better. Better sleep = better recovery.
•
Thirdly and lastly, eat slightly more protein. Try to shoot for 1.5g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Not only does research show it to be superior to 1g for muscle gain AND fat loss, more protein also means faster recovery. Yes, your body will utilize it if you space it out with 30 to 40 grams of protein per meal.

Train hard, train smart, eat smart, and recover quick.
