The T-Bar row, also known as the close grip barbell row, is an excellent exercise to use if you are trying to target your back🔥
.
Here’s how to perform it👇🏽
.
1️⃣Position a bar into a landmine or in a corner to keep it from moving. .
2️⃣ Load an appropriate weight onto your end.
.
3️⃣ Stand over the bar, and position a Double D row handle around the bar next to the collar. Using your hips and legs, rise to a standing position.
.
4️⃣ Assume a wide stance with your hips back and your chest up. Your arms should be extended. This will be your starting position.
.
5️⃣ Pull the weight to your upper abdomen by retracting the shoulder blades and flexing the elbows. Do not jerk the weight or cheat during the movement.
.
4️⃣After a brief pause, return to the starting position.

Ask yourself, “do I *really* want to lose weight?” Do you want to change for yourself or is someone else telling you to change?

Are you ready to be 100% true and genuine about what you struggle with?

Are you set to face the emotions & demons that are pushing your unhealthy eating habits?

There’s no right answer... Maybe you’re not ready.

That’s fine.

I fought to lose weight for years, and it's because I wasn't set for it yet.

Just remember that when you ARE ready... You're going to have to work for this. 
You'll have to fight mental monsters 🐉

I can tell you this though... Nothing compares to the liberation that grows from facing your conflicts head on and conquering them one by one.

✔️People noticing I was losing weight⁣

This year & every year moving forward, I promised myself that my New Years Resolution would NOT be about weight loss or starting a new diet.⁣

Remember guys, if diets actually worked you wouldn’t be on your 57th diet, would you?⁣

Top tips on building muscle 💪💪.

Now we all know by now that we need to eat in a surplus of energy to be able to gain weight. We also know the importance of protein when it comes to gaining muscle. But here’s a few things that you may have missed out or not thought about before.

Tip number 1: meal timing. Especially our pre workout meal. Eating a load of carbs 10 minutes before we go shit ourselves on the hack squat definitely isn’t ideal. Eat a good amount of carbs with a little bit of protein and as little fats as possible 2-2.5 hours before you train. Fuel your workouts.
For me I eat roughly 90-110g of oats and 30g whey 2+ hours before every session. -
Tip number 2: Sleep!
We don’t prioritise this enough. And we are the first to always complain about how tired we are.
To function at an optimal level we should be aiming for 8-10 hours sleep. With at least a good few hours deep sleep in there.

Tip number 3: Progressive overload with intent and intensity.
It’s all good loading up the bar every session but be very careful we aren’t sacrificing execution. Keep your ego in check. We aren’t weightlifters. Our aim is to place as much stress on targeted muscle fibres as possible. We don’t want to just move a weight from A to B.
Lift heavy loads with great execution and go until you can’t go. -
