What does a Sports Dietitian actually do 🚴🏼♀️🍌 I get asked this all the time - How are we different to a regular dietitian 🤷🏼♀️
Well.. lets get one thing straight. We don’t just see clients for weight loss, we are so much more specialised than that. We quite literally help you take your performance to the next level. This could be planning for training prior to a serious event, recovery nutrition, competition/game/event day planning to ensure you perform at your best, supplement use for your particular sport and we match your nutrition to training phases and goal. You also don’t face to be training for anything, if you just want to train harder and get stronger and fitter thats a perfect reason to see someone. I’ve listed a few sports however, this only scratches the surface:
• Body building
• Iron man
• Ultra endurance
• Team sport
• Physique manipulation
• Supplement use
Not only that but we also factor in the medical factors that may influence your performance. We don’t just see elite athletes, we actually see more novice and sub-elite. So if you need help, take the guess work out of it and see a sports dietitian 🙌🏼 #happy #healthy #crossfit
I have 3 health scholarships left this month. You can start the last two months of the year off getting ahead of your health goals instead of gaining weight like most people do during this time. I’d love to walk alongside you. There’s no time like NOW!!

Who would have thought that scrambled eggs could be vegan, packed with protein AND delicious 😋🌱
Try my simple and quick recipe to add clean vegan protein to your breakfast!
🍳 80g of extra firm tofu, drained
🍳 1 tsp of Tumeric powder
🍳 1 tsp of onion powder
🍳 1 tsp of garlic powder
🍳 1/4 cup of Vegetable broth
*Substitute vegetable broth for chicken stock for vegetarian option
1️⃣ Squeeze any excess water from your tofu before adding it to your pan. Make sure your tofu is crumbled so it can absorb all the deliciousness of the seasonings 😋
2️⃣ Once your skillet is on medium hot, add a teaspoon of olive oil or pan spray
3️⃣ Add your tofu to the pan and let it cook for about 1 minute
4️⃣ Add your tumeric, onion and garlic powder and mix well with a spatula
5️⃣ Add your vegetable broth and let it absorb into the eggs, letting the tofu cook for about 5 minutes
6️⃣ Remove from skillet and ENJOY! 🌱

🤯 Reality check time 🤯 I know I keep saying this but I am SO ready to draw the line. Since we went to NYC in May I have seriously struggled. Up down, up down constantly. It’s been a crazily busy 5 months, loads going on, very busy at work and lots of trips and weekends away. It’s not an excuse because I have always been a busy person but always made it work in the past. But just gone a bit mad this summer and let my goals slip to the back of my mind. One last weekend of indulgence last weekend at a family wedding and now I am properly ready to see that graph go back down again! The OH is on it now too and we’re doing it together! Would love to get back to my lowest before Xmas - so 8lbs is my first mini goal ! Also going to start trying to post more because I used to post loads and it always helped me when I wanted to look back at ideas to remind me what worked and what didn’t ! 💙🌟 so this weeks weigh in was a stay the same - I was straight on it Monday morning after we got back from the Midlands and have been spot on since so somehow managed to pair it back in time for weigh in. Next week will be a loss I’m sure of it !! #weightloss #weightlossjourney #losingweight #weightwatchers #weightwatchersuk #ww #wwuk #wwfreestyle #wwflex #weightlosstransformation #mywwflexdiary #mywwjourney
I have always enjoyed working out. It's always been a thing that I knew made me feel on the inside as well as the outside. For a long time after my 2nd daughter I struggled BAD. I really didn't have PPD but I definitely had PP Anxiety. Everything made me worried everything was stressing me out. Ans on top of that I HATED my body. I was the heaviest I'd ever been sitting at 285 right before I gave birth and was at 268 right before my surgery. When I was sitting at that weight I didnt want anyone to see me especially not working out. I mean hell I sweated so much as it was not adding that ontop of it but I knew the gym for me was therapy. Now I change my workout every 6 weeks & recently I no longer feel intimidated by working out mostly in the weight room @missmiafit inspired me to focus on my lower half of my body with has helped my confidence tremendously. I have always had thick thighs and I will continue to have thick thighs. But being laser focused on that has made me feel so effing HOT in my ever transforming body. So here's my tip if you're nervous about going into the gym. 1. Pick your fave body part on you & work that out because you're gonna feel hot while you're doing it. 2. Find someone on social media who has the body type you want or works out how you want & see the moves they post 3. Listen to some music that makes you feel freakin incredible 4. If you need to feel like you need to wear makeup to the gym to be your best there do it and dont give AF what anyone thinks 5. Where clothes that expose or show the area you are working on because once you start seeing those muscles working its game on!
I'm no expert but I know jumping in the gym has helped me in so many ways!!!
