Do what you have to do to get it done.
I don’t know about y’all, but there is ALWAYS something that I could use as an excuse to not go to the gym or to let my nutrition slide.
We are transitioning to our new building at Tally Ho so child care hasn’t started yet (just a few more weeks 🙌🏼) and I’m not going to lie... I had some major anxiety about how this would work for our family. Maverick isn’t old enough to entertain himself so we have to have something in place for him.
So here we are. I bring the portable playpen, lots of toys, and all the snacks we have in our house 😂. And guess what He is perfectly content in there.
I could have used the “I don’t have anything to do with my child while I workout” excuse... but instead, I just took my kid with me. I did what I had to do.
Maybe the only time you can fit a workout in is before work... bright and early.... then do it! Or maybe it’s after work and your exhausted, do it anyway! If you want the results you have to make it happen.
Maybe you need to re-evaluate what your grocery list looks like because it’s not supporting the healthy lifestyle you desire... then do it.
Maybe you need to spend a little extra time in the kitchen cooking a healthy meal (even after a long day at work.. I know I know, sounds crazy) and meal prepping so that you have something healthy to eat during the week.. because if it’s there and already made you are more likely to stick to your goals!
I don’t know what needs to be done in your life for you to stick to or reach your goals, but I do know it’s going to take one thing... you simply DOING IT.
It’s not just going to happen, you’re going to have to MAKE it happen.

Date night with @yungkombucha420 last night. We began at @eakramen46nyc with the Stir Fried Eggplant...crazy good. For the main course we ordered the Umami Mushroom Ramen...umami bomb! Such a unique flavor, unlike any ramen I’ve had before. We added some chili oil to amp things up a bit and *chefs kiss*. For dessert we hit up Whole Foods for some vegan carrot cake and hard kombucha. What a wild night. Highly recommend EAK Ramen if you want to try something new!
Want to help @wholefoods raise money for their @wholekidsfoundation, a charity that provides grants for salad bars, gardens, bee hives, and healthy eating education to our local schools Cruise on over to Whole Foods this Sunday 12-5pm for a craft fair with local vendors, artists, food specials, music and more. All proceeds will benefit this great foundation...and our kids!

Doing new things is scary! It's uncomfortable, takes time, takes a little bit of effort, but sometimes all that work and effort turns out to be SO GOOD.

Happy Saturday!! The last weekend of summer (technically) and my last weekend in New York! It’s almost like I planned it that way🤭
Anyway, fruit and yog bowl to start the day sans toppings because they are all packed🙃but I think the 4:1 fruit to yogurt ratio makes up for it😅eating up probably the last of the fresh summer fruits and headed to the gym, then the market...so maybe not the last😂

LE VERDURE AL FORNO (con vista) 🍆🍅🌶 🎃 .
Voi quando le mangiate Io amo quelle che fanno le mie nonne gratinate, quelle che fa mia mamma con pinoli e uvetta e quelle che fa la mamma del mio ragazzo. Ma le mangio sempre anche quando sono da sola o con le mie amiche lontano da casa 🏡. A pranzo o a cena, a colazione o a merenda per me rimangono sempre buonissime.
Per queste che vedete nella foto basta tagliare le verdure che vi piacciono grossolanamente, condirle con olio e sale e infornarle per 15 minuti circa a 190 gradi circa.
E quindi buon apetito e buon sabato a tutti😘
