This 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Zelko "Griblje 14" tastes as good as it looks. Some wine, like some of us, lol, truly improves with age! 🍷🍷 I made this all natural wine with my family in our humble N.Y. cellar 13 years ago and it remains excellent. I wasn't sure how well it would age after 13 years, but I was pleasantly surprised immediately after opening the bottle. I decanted it for 20 minutes in a small surface volume decanter before tasting. Its aroma was of dark berries and its taste was balanced and elegant, softened by time.
This bottle was aged in glass and not oak, so it maintained a fruit-forward experience even today without the oak-infusion of most Cabs we usually drink here in CA. I look forward to going back in time with various vintages from Griblje 14 and to new vintages from Italy that I will be begin bottling this year.

👁️rosso rubino con riflessi granata
👃intenso con note di frutta rossa matura e spezie
👄intenso, caldo, fresco e tannico con buon corpo, buona persistenza con note fruttate ma sbilanciata sulle durezze.
Un bel Barolo di carattere che da soddisfazione ai palati "astringenti" come il mio 😍🍷🍷👍
