The last in the Bali series showcasing how one person can travel multiple paths at the same time. It’s been interesting to post these pictures from this photo shoot as it was one of three days where I was presentable in public.🙈The other days I looked scrubby. My lavish trip included meditation, reading, working most of the time, talking to Sandeep and then a whole lot of nothing. I have been sitting here debating why I use social media and how much I share. I realize I share my stories and adventures in hopes it will inspire others to take action in their lives, I use social media to help people through my business and I also share so others realize that we all have our stories and journeys and they are not only what they are on social media.
For those of you who are close to me know I have had to persevere through health challenges throughout my life from a rare auto-immune disease as a child that left my body fairly rigid to multiple concussions to multiple car accidents to dehabilitating back pain to concussion ramifications like depression, motion sickness and the list goes on. My body had enough. I’ve been fortunate I’m surrounded by people who take care of me like my parents, friends, team members and family. They all did what they could to especially support the last eight months while I was put in bed rest and Veza was growing. They drove me, took over my work, listened, were patient and most of all, were such a light in my life that it helped me through one of the worst and best times in my life. It is really the duality of life that was shown to me - where I was in some of my darkest places yet I was shown so much success and light. I came to Bali as I was dealing with the burnout, pneumonia, fibromyalgia, depression all within the last 8 months. I knew it was time to give myself what I needed to feed my soul. I should have given myself this much before than when I did. I didn’t need to go to the extremes as there was nothing that was that important that it wouldn’t be handled. Veza was my biggest worry but I am surrounded by team members who stepped up and led so I can rest. I had to trust and let go of control which is the most beautiful thing.
A few captions as I end the Bali series:
1) Life is an abstract piece of complexity.
2) It is composed of so many components where some are healthy and others need to be softened(picture 2 and 3)
3) We can try to make garbage look pretty but really we just need to stop squatting at it as it is constipating us and move on
4) for those who make fun of me for not being able to ride a bike - this one is for you.
I’m still here, I promise! Summer is just flying by so quickly that I haven’t had a chance to post anything recently. So many new dresses, including this pinafore, will be available in the shop this Sunday 7/21 at 8pm 🌼
