I am a worrier.
I worry about a lot of stuff and money was something I used to worry about daily, it used to preoccupy me at some point most days.
I worried about what I’d do if I couldn’t work
What would happen if my husband lost his job or I did
What if we had more children
How would we save for our kids going to uni & go on nice holidays and eat out as much as we like to 😂 and pay for all the activities and save for a new house etc etc etc .
How would we create our dream life when someone else dictated our pay
How could I do what I love when I was reliant on a FT job.
Maternity leave was a big shock 7 years ago and this morning I found myself worrying about next month because it’s my first on statutory maternity leave when I’ll really feel it. .
Then I remembered I have my arbonne business and my second income. Phew!!.
It’s like my brain worries so much sometimes it forgets the things I’ve done to set myself up for success rather than worry. Does anyone else do that .
This is why I show up 20 minutes before Arbonne trainings start and why I smile when I’m in a room full of mummas I know had the same worries but have turned those around because of their businesses.
Next month I am going to remind myself to be more grateful for that mid month pay cheque that will allow me a longer maternity leave 🙏

I just wanted to drop you a quick note, I received my order on Monday. I have used 2 other magnesium sprays in the past but thought I should try yours.. I only started meditating two years ago and it wasn’t until last year that it became one of my non negotiable things!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I don’t sit in a long practice everyday, in fact most of my meditations are no longer than 10 minutes, but I do it everyday.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you quiet your mind, you quiet your body! It is in that state that your body starts to self regulate and create homeostasis! This is the state of equilibrium where all functions of your body are optimized.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But more than this physiological benefit, meditation gives me a sense of calm and takes be out of that anxious/fight or flight state that creeps in every now and then. It gives me the power to look at the same exact situation with a different perspective. ✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I know I've posted about this before, but I'm posting this again as I get back into my routine after being on holiday. It's called DOYOUYOGA. It's also a website. You can sign up for a variety of different yoga challenges of varying degress of length and difficulty. After you watch a session, you can log it to earn experience points.
The "challenge" factor and the "points" factors are great motivators. I am enjoying Jessica Rose's 30-day Yoga Challenge at the moment. And yes, I started it end of December. I have not got to it every day, but that's okay. And I took some time off while we were on vacation. But now, I'm ready to get back to it. Who's with me 🙋

Last year, I reached the maximum level of being an absolute miserable workaholic corporate bitch 😅
Now I'm being strict on not working more than 48 hours a week and I still got a lot of shit done in January (including signing 10 international leading livestock companies for 3 years, being invited to accompany the Dutch Prime Minister on a trade mission for the 2nd time, go on business trips and manage an inauguration ceremony in India).
And yet I still managed to go to the gym 2-3 times a week, have home cooked meals, read books, picking up playing music again, go to events, develop my own things and spend loads of quality time with loved ones. #happiness
Working less felt super weird (it’s all I did and knew for 10+ years), but I’ve learned to not feel guilty about it anymore. Cuz I’m still killing it at the job 🤓 #woke2019
