"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard And how are they to hear without someone preaching" â Romans 10:14
This is the reality of the gospel, God has designed it to rely on certain variables in order to be propagated effectivelyâ through His Church. Talk about the loving heart, the beautiful feet, and of course, the gentle, yet awakening voice of the ones that are sent by God. Yes, only the sent of God, "And how are they to preach unless they are sent As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" So am I saying, the preaching of the gospel is specifically for a remnant of "sent" Christians No! Actually, the sent in this context of the Bible represents every single believer who have been regenerated by the Spirit of God through the power of the gospel of Jesus, the ones called out of darkness into God's marvelous light. 1 Pet 2:9.
God has vested us with such a great responsibility as proclaiming the gospel to the worldâ to go and make disciples of all nations, see Matt 28:19, let us therefore be faithful to this calling knowing that the world will never call on whom they have not believed in, and they will never believe in whom they have not heard of, and of course, they will never hear if you and I do not come out of our comfort zone to consistently proclaim the wonderful gospel of Jesus, Romans 10:14.
