Yoga is essential. However after a cuddle with my dogs, a good chat with a loved one, or a bubble bath I feel myself start to settle and recharge. 🍃What is your morning ritual to start your day off in the right mindset Tea is my morning ritual. Even though I’m having such a terrible time, I’m forcing myself to do things that make me happy. Yoga puts a smile on my face. So I made myself flow for a bit. I focused more on balancing and leg work and it was so nice. But as soon as my practice was over it was back to anxiety.
I really need to start training my mind to stop running and to stop over thinking, it fucks me over so bad. Anyone have any tips or tricks Please share with meeee!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Here is a tip we found that we can do to eat well for a mental health:
Eat for our gut!
The gut is sometimes referred to as the ‘second brain’, therefore it is important to keep the gut happy by eating healthy foods that contain probiotics. This can be found in foods like; yoghurt, tempeh, kombucha, sauerkraut, miso, and kimchi). Check back next week for a quick & easy Gut Healthy recipe incorporating kimchi! Yum!
Props can be your best friends. Today I taught a mini inversion workshop with my group at work and when we got to pincha I knew I would have to break out the big guns. Most of the guys at work struggle with tight shoulders and they find getting the hands and shoulders in the right place really challenging. By placing a strap around the arms to keep them at shoulder distance and a block between the hands to keep them from moving towards each other, it allows beginners to focus on other aspects of the posture. The Iyengar teacher in me is obsessed the how props can change alignment within the practice... and the ashtangi in me says "props be damned!" Give it a try! See what you think. Does it help you find balance and better alignment Do you feel like you can focus on other aspects of the posture when you take the arms out of it Let me know!

However, even though you don’t want to eat or drink anything, you must force yourself, or else you die. Your body can’t rebuild itself, you need the calories just to stay alive. I am training for Everest !
I’m really struggling with eating. not just eating healthy, but eating in general, I have no appetite, never really had one. While I train and workout, I want my body to be able to heal. So just as I would on Everest, I’m making the choice to eat.Just eat in general. Your body can’t lose the weight if it doesn’t know when it getting fed again, so it holds on to everything. It seems like an oxymoron, increasing you calorie intake in order to lose weight."

I've birthed 3 humans from this body. And now, a mother of three, I'm caring for my body better than ever before. I make a habit of moving in #connection with breath #everydangday. Not for a slimmer physic or a toned ass (although those are some of the benefits). I #move my body to #release and restore. To care for the biological mechanism I was #gifted to operate for this short life. I want it to stay in good enough condition so that in time I can chase my grandkids and #play when I'm "old". Condition is a beautiful word because that's just what it is. Mental, physical and spiritual conditions, which is the 'state'. Your mind's condition will dictate your emotional state. Your body's condition will dictate your physical state and your spirit's condition will dictate your state of connection to grace (in whatever form that takes for you). My question then becomes: how are you conditioning yourself
