Join us for a journey of love while opening our hearts together.
We all know that backbends have some great psychological and energetic benefits. While we generally tend to protect our most vulnerable part - our heart, both the physical heart and the energetic heart space - we want to do opposite action: opening us up to the world the next ten days. We allow ourselves to open more fully in our lives: to our emotions, experiences and in our relationships, releasing stored emotions: frustration, fear, anger, sadness as well as joy and love.
However safety comes first in backbends since lots of us are habitually rounding shoulders and backs with things like computer work, driving, texting, playing with kids etc.
Together we will prepare our bodies in order to open our hearts day by day, getting to know the right alignment while discovering also the differences between the types of front body stretches. 💕 All kinds of props are allowed and all levels are welcome! 💕Hosts:

A typical daily routine provides us ample cause to experience many emotions like anger, frustration, sorrow, unhappiness.This is par for the course in today's times of stressed living.I'm sure you have also undergone such feelings.The after effects of these negative emotions are adverse reactions, remorse, angry words which we regret later, shortness of breath, high blood pressure, indigestion and so many more.Unfortunately for us, the more we suffer from negativism, worse are the after effects.
Calming the mind through meditative techniques keeps our responses, behaviour, attitude and and physical health stable.We need this stability in our daily interactions.Meditation stops the constant chatter of the mind.Finding resolve and de-stressing through meditation cocoons us from the chaos and tumultuous reactions of our daily grind.It turns the internal negatives to external positives.Though meditation seems very esoteric, a committed practise most certainly translates into a balanced, stressfree and stable routine life.
Alongwith these gross benefits, slowly we will also experience a subtler, more beautiful effect of meditation.Our ancients call it 'Rit'.This is the quality of truth-bearing insight.This insight increases our consciousness - we understand right from wrong and our intuition increases, such that it give us a faultless perception of truth.This truth is one without misconception - it is a perfect state of objectiveness.It is knowledge and wisdom gained from our meditative practices so that we are in complete harmony with life.As this awareness, insight and knowledge increase, our behaviour towards ourself and others becomes truthful and righteous.
In a simplistic way:
Meditative practices lead us from a tension, strife, indecision, grief filled life to a balanced, calm life which further progresses to an intuitive, truthful, meaningful

It's 10pm, I just got done running errands, and I'm wearing the first pair of new slippers I've had in ages because I own a dog who loves chewing on things. I also haven't actually had a workout today. And I know that if I don't do some kind of workout I'm going to be achy tomorrow. So even though it's 10pm and I'm already in yoga pants and my comfy chair and I've got my electric throw turned on, I'm getting up to work out.
Self Care means showing up for yourself and making sure you take care of your body, mind, and soul. Make sure you're showing up for yourself.

I now know how to teach a full one hour yoga sequence and I’m pretty satisfied with how much I’ve retained these last 4 weeks in yoga teacher training. 🧘🏼♀️ though not perfect, I’m being perfectly me and doing my best.
What I’m feeling extra grateful for today is:
I’m grateful for the strong body I have
I’m grateful that today I get the breath of life
I am so grateful for laughter and love
I am extra grateful for the people in my life that have been supporting me, loving me, and encouraging me in my strengths.
And I’ll end with saying this. Focus on people’s strengths and you won’t even recognize their weaknesses. We are all humans just doing our best. 🌈

slowly getting back into my routine after a 3 week vacation. I’ve been home for 2 weeks now and my body is still adjusting... doesn’t help that it’s always dark and gloomy out - all I want to do is stay on the couch and eat lol
all that schnitzel and drinking did not help, and I’ve lost so much muscle 🙈 time to hit the gym hard and more power yoga!
