#WeAreMCHFTThis is Sarah. Sarah is a PA in our Opthalmology team, who are based in our Eyecare Department, at Leighton Hospital in Crewe. She’s worked with the team for the last 5 years, having come to the NHS from working in a Call Centre. We have a vacancy for a PA, to come and work alongside Sarah (well….. on the opposite desk, actually!) Being a PA means that Sarah has to constantly juggle her workload... She deals with patients, GPs, and all sorts of other people. Sarah’s role involves everything from medical audio typing, diary management and monitoring of the Opthalmology Department and Trust targets. She supervises the Assistant PA’s, co-ordinates their activities and makes sure that the team provide an efficient service.Sarah says the best bit of her role is the people that she deals with, day to day. The most challenging part, she says, is that there are never enough hours in the day!!
