Ses aventures ont fourni un grand thème d’inspiration aux artistes anonymes dont les fresques couvrent les murs du cloître de Vat Preah Morokot au Palais Royal.

The white monkey, an ally of Rama, in his struggle against Ravana and the army of the giants, remains the symbol of intelligence and devotion to the service of a just cause. His adventures have provided a great theme for inspiration to anonymous artists whose frescoes cover the walls of the cloister of Wat Preah Morokot at the Royal Palace.

L’oiseau solaire ennemi des Nagas et monture de Vishnu est l’un des grands thèmes décoratifs de l’art khmer traditionnel. On le trouvait déjà dans les grandes compositions épiques des bas-reliefs d’Angkor Vat, mais il prit une importance grandissante dans l’art post-angkorien et moderne. ••
The solar bird enemy of the Naga and mount of Vishnu is one of the great decorative themes of traditional Khmer art. It was already to be found in the great epic compositions of the bas-reliefs of Angkor Wat, but it became of great importance in post-Angkorian and modern art.

1955 - 1969 | This is Madame Saorin Tip Mam (1931 - 1975 ~ 1979 [unknown]) the first woman in Cambodia to receive a PhD in the medical field. Her manuscript, ‘Typhus de broussailles au Cambodge’ is published in the Collection of theses from the Faculty of Medicine of Paris (1958). She was the Director of the Biological Institute at the École Royale D’Administration / Royal School of Administration (est. 1956) and also medical school professor who specialized in anatomy and pathology. 
However like many of her peers in the medical field, she was targeted during the Khmer Rouge regime for being an intellectual and was tragically killed in Battambang Province.
