Couldn’t believe how dry it was when we visited California...Sequoia National Park was incredible but so sad hearing about the fires after we left....

🇳🇴 I enjoyed The Viking Ship Museum in Oslo, Norway so much! These ships from between 900-1000 ad recovered from Viking burial mounds so well preserved! I couldn’t believe that you could actually see the decorations on the ships still...really amazed me...history brought to life! 🇳🇴

🇳🇴 I enjoyed The Viking Ship Museum in Oslo, Norway so much! These ships from between 900-1000 ad recovered from Viking burial mounds so well preserved! I couldn’t believe that you could actually see the decorations on the ships still...really amazed me...history brought to life! 🇳🇴

After a day exploring Oslo at pretty much 0° what better way to finish the day? We had some great food in Norway including fresh Cod from the Lofoten Islands at Egon Restaurant Karl Johan’s Gate, it really was delicious 😋 The Ringnes beer went down well too 😜 🍺 🍻

After a day exploring Oslo at pretty much 0° what better way to finish the day We had some great food in Norway including fresh Cod from the Lofoten Islands at Egon Restaurant Karl Johan’s Gate, it really was delicious 😋 The Ringnes beer went down well too 😜 🍺 🍻

The view from our room at the Comfort Hotel Grand Central, Oslo...looking down Karl Johans Gate with Christmas in full swing!!! 🎄This was the perfect hotel for a short break in the Norwegian capital as a couple. So central, everything seemed to be within walking distance, really stylish too! We loved our stay!!!

So central, everything seemed to be within walking distance, really stylish too! We loved our stay!!!

It was so cool seeing the Christmas decorations and Christmas Markets during our visit to Oslo!

The Opera House in Oslo is a really cool building, it looks like it’s white ice and you can walk around it, climb in top of it, walk on the roof, it’s a work of art...there are great views over the fjord too. There’s a lot of development going on around it at the moment but judging by the planning pics, when it’s finished, it looks like the waterfront in Oslo is going to be breathtaking! 🇳🇴
