𧬠The water anole (A.K.A. Anolis Aquaticus) is a tropical lizard found in Central America. This video captures a water anole breathing underwater via air bubble. Air bubbles cling to its head and neck and help store oxygen during long dives. Water anoles survive on rocks and vegetation, and jump into water when predators are near. Thanks to the air bubbles the water anole can completely submerge itself in water for up to 16 minuets to escape threats.

π§¬π Take a look at an exhausted bumble bee getting a quick boost of energy from sugar water (a mix of white granulated sugar and water). Sugar water is a helpful last resort to help an exhausted bee, but isnβt a good primary source of energy as it will only provide carbohydrates and no nutritional value #bee #sugarwater #facts | video credit: CommanderNightHawk

𧬠Check out the AirJelly - a robotic jellyfish created by @festo_global β’ To make movements as realistic as possible, the AirJelly has eight adaptive tentacles. According to FESTO, The "tentacles absorb the force of the electric drive and allow the artificial jellyfish to float using the recoil principle", allowing the AirJelly to float through the air the way a jelly fish floats through water. The body contains rechargeable batteries and a ballonet filled with helium to provide uplift #science #airjelly #jellyfish | π₯ video credit: master1718 on reddit
