My first food competition was last night. We served a black truffle Thai curry wonton, with the curry as a base, Thai basil and lemongrass oil, pickled ginger, and borage to garnish. It was almost vegetarian, but we needed fish sauce for the curry. We were paired with #Ballentinewinery with the only white wine among 23 teams of 2 students.
