A sunny day in Monterosso al Mare, Cinque Terre, Italy. This small town, located in the province of La Spezia, is the last village on the train ride through Cinque Terre. Like many of the villages along the Italian Riviera coastline, Monterosso al Mare was once marauded by pirates. Watchtowers, such as the one seen in the distance, lined the coast, protecting villagers that dwelled in the hills above.
