I just wanted share these pics of Baby Girl enjoying her DIY ball pit and splish splash play using natural objects and household items from my kitchen. Her natural ball pit explored shape, colour, size and weight and the splish splash tray explored temperature (I threw in a few ice cubes), texture and colour. She discovered that the silicon patty pans also make great teething mits. 😁 #babysensory #diy #natureplay #waterplay #ballpit

And this, my friends, is why I love being a member of my local community garden. I've just harvested all of this food from my plot except for the bowl top left which was swapped with another member for other greens that I grow. I don't think I've had to buy any leafy greens since Zahra was born. Here we have beetroot, radish, butter lettuce, eggplant and bitter endive. All spray free and grown 8 mins walk from my front door. πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ #communitygarden #homegrown #sprayfree #organic #vegetables #eatlocal

I have learnt that fenugreek is key to making a great butter chicken. 😁 Here's a really quick 30minute recipe. Don't forget to add your #fenugreek at the end! Breakfast: sauteed homegrown silverbeet, nasturtium and mint in butter, shredded homegrown radish in olive oil, homegrown lettuce, activated almonds, sprouts, tomato, mandarin and sauerkraut. All seasoned with cracked sea salt. Last night, I ate 2 lamb chops and a bowl of porridge for dinner (a bit random), so I felt like a big injection of vegetables this morning. That's at least 3 serves before 9am. Most Australians only eat 1-2 servings of vegetables a day. The recommended is 5 servings daily (and 2 serves of fruit) for health. I'm also getting back into fermented veg, rich in good gut bacteria, after a long hiatus. #EatYoVeg #vegetables #gofortwoandfive #eattherainbow
