@swamp.snacks : “My friend @rukasthecat rescues cats and kittens (She always has cats available for adoption if anyone is interested). She deals with a lot of cats who are in pretty terrible shape when they’re found. She found Sauron roaming the busy streets of New Jersey city with one of her eyeballs so badly infected it was almost hanging out. She was about 5 weeks old when Athena found her and the first picture I saw of her, I felt this undeniable connection to her. Thankfully she ended up being able to keep her eye after a few months of vet visits and many antibiotics. I drove from MA to NJ to meet her, and fell in love instantly. Sauron, or bunny as I fondly call her (her back feet are all white and look like bunny feet) She acclimated to the rest of her cat family as soon as she met them, she gets along with every animal she meets. She loves car rides and hikes, she’s leashes trained, comes when you call her name and wants to play fetch constantly. I count my lucky stars every day for her."
