Despite being one of the most technologically advanced production cars in the world, each of the GT-R’s Skyline 2.6-liter V6 twin-turbo engine is built and assembled entirely by hand by one of Nissan’s four craftsmen called Takumi. To make sure that there is no contamination, the engine is assembled in a temperature-controlled room at Nissan’s Yokohama plant.
