Can you see color even when it’s not there? Can you feel the passion of the pinks and purples as they blend together in vibrancy? Can you imagine a yellow, screaming with electric fury at acidic green, who defiantly drools with its viciously verdant snarl?
It’s amazing how color impacts a design... how color brings life to the world. I love the emotional quality of color and how it has the power to actually incite joy and delight. Yes maybe black and white LOOKS cool or even edgy... but how does color FEEL? 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

This mural is a backdrop for one of the vignettes at the @tovfurniture showroom in High Point, NC. I have been working with TOV for a while now and I just love the creativity that we are able to generate together. This wall was a blast and I love the colors! I know it’s a bit different than my normal work, and I think there’s something so fresh about it. What do you think?

In honor of #breastcancerawareness month 💖 As a man, its easy to slip into feeling a little bit removed from breast cancer, (although breast cancer does affect men too). However, cancer affects everyone in one way or another. So I want to direct your attention to a friend of mine, @betsynilan who is doing amazing things to help out this community. The most exciting thing about being an artist is seeing the impact that my work has on others. And this adorable little artist came walking in the other night wearing a T with my WuTang design. It was the best thing I had seen in months. I want to take a moment to thank you. All of you who are here, on my page, sharing love and helping to promote kindness. All of you who have been on this ride with me, helping me to understand myself better through my art. Thank you for being my friends, my support and my motivation. And huge thanks to every one of you who came to see me at the @fillinglobal show last night! OMG seriously so much love! It’s very special to me that so many of you came from all over the city to spend a moment with me and see my work - it really means the world and ignites me to keep moving, creating, and sharing.
Artists create, hoping people will like their work, (whether they admit it or not), and putting my work on a wall with other artists, and saying, “hey world, come and see me?” is a vulnerable thing. It can feel scary and cause anxiety. But what makes it so rewarding is when so many magical, beautiful people come to give a hug and show some love. It made my day. 😊

This animation played on the big screen on 46th st in Times Square all summer, and when I saw it, it was one of most insane moments of my career. I was fortunate to work with @kneeon_nyc who animated this, I illustrated all the pieces and created a storyboard, and they made it into magic!!! One of my favorite parts is the black hearts that flutter up when the cab whizzes by, as though they are pigeons on the street. 🤩🚕🐦

This animation played on the big screen on 46th st in Times Square all summer, and when I saw it, it was one of most insane moments of my career. I was fortunate to work with @kneeon_nyc who animated this, I illustrated all the pieces and created a storyboard, and they made it into magic!!!
