That summertime plate, tho. I’d forgotten about this amazing tomato salad from Tess Ward’s The Naked Cookbook. I discovered it a few years ago when teaching weekly Farm to Fork classes for @communityservings — it has tomatoes, shallot, capers, almonds, parsley, and an addictive sweet smoky dressing with 1TBS lemon juice, 1TBS maple syrup, 3TBS olive oil & 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. Today I added avocado and basil to the mix and served over arugula with some crispy @hodofoods Moroccan tofu sprinkled on top warm from the pan. Such a satisfying Sunday lunch. #csalove #tasteslikesummer #eatarainbow #plantbased

Come for a delicious and rejuvenating Yin practice with Holland and learn how to nourish your body inside & out as we transition from winter to spring. I can’t believe this guy turned TWO today. He is curious, imaginative, and kind. He loves to cook and build and clean and read, and he *really* appreciates a good construction site. Oh, and snuggling. This kid feels spontaneously moved to snuggle trees, pumpkins, lion statues, trucks, friends, pets...you name it. You better believe I’m soaking up ALL THE SNUGGLES while I can get ‘em. Also, he requested grain-free, fruit-sweetened banana muffins (with chocolate chips) for his birthday cake. So...he’s clearly my child. Happy Birthday, my sweet little man. ❤️

Fighting a cold 🤧 so my normal warm beverages have been swapped for Chaga & Reishi 🍄 🍄 tea with a little Maca for energy (I’ve been alternating with throat coat tea), and of course lots of water and Umcka every few hours (which I totally swear by - we all have our thing, right?), along with some black elderberry when I think of it. Also trying to unplug more at night in favor of more aligned winding down rituals...last night that meant clearing away all of the baby toys for a hot epsom and lavender bath...okay, I still somehow then got sucked into Instagram for 20-minutes, but...baby steps? I need to ask my friend @theoiljarapothecary what I should do for essential oils! How do you #selfcare? #adaptogens #rituals #coldseason
